What is HyperEVM?

HyperEVM is the Ethereum-compatible smart contract platform built directly into the Hyperliquid Layer 1 blockchain. It operates alongside HyperCore, the chain’s native engine for high-performance financial applications, like its on-chain perpetuals and spot order books. This dual architecture allows developers to deploy smart contracts that can seamlessly interact with Hyperliquid’s deep, native liquidity and sophisticated trading primitives.
